What's Cookin, Mama? (Foodie Playdates for moms & kids)

If you like to cook/bake or want to participate in fun playdates not just for your little ones but for yourself too, come check out What's Cookin, Mama. WCM is a playdate group that encourages moms to get together with others who like to cook/bake while having our little ones play and have fun.

Our playdates are fun for everyone involved regardless of age and what brings it all together is food. Our GTG playdate calendar is full of ongoing events including:

-Book exchange breakfasts/brunches: We get together for playdates and incorporate a children book and cookbook swap each month over breakfast/brunch. Add a new children's book & cookbook to your collection each month for free!

- Kitchen Playdates: For the moms & older kids, we'll play in the kitchen with food while our little ones have a playdate. There are monthly food themes like 'Top your own pizza party', Cupcake decorating, Twist your own pretzels, etc.

- Monthly Themed Party Potlucks: Bring the kids and a dish to share to our monthly themed potlucks. There's a holiday or event to celebrate each month so we're making it fun with a themed potluck!

- Museum strolls: During the cooler months, we'll hit the local & ethnic museums with the little ones and incorporate a lunch date trying out new places and ethnic cuisines.

- Park& food festival strolls: During the warmer months, we'll hit the local parks and food festivals with the little ones and incorporate a lunch date.

- Educational food tours: We'll visit some delicious places and take special food tours catered to moms and kids. Places include the Jelly Belly factory, Eli's Cheesecake, etc.

- Farm field trips: When in season, we'll visits pick your own' farms for a chance to learn more about food and take home what we pick too! Some pick your own farms we'll visit include strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, summer veggies, apples, pumpkins, etc.
