Hi. I don't post here much but figured you ladies might be more knowledgable since you're local!
We're starting DS at Parkville NCD mid-sept. He'll only be going 2 days a week and I was hoping to hear from people who send (or sent) their kids there about the experience you had.
I know they had some inspection issues in the past, but the times we visited and toured (once when he was 6 mos and again last week) we felt very comfortable with them. We looked at bigger centers like Celebree and Goddard, but their prices are just too high for us. (Ideally I'd like to send him to the Bright Horizons center where I work at Hopkins, but their list for p/t is long and they are also out of our price range)
So would anyone who has had experience w/ Parkville daycare please share it with me?? TIA
I'm also looking for a good, reliable babysitter in the Parkville area is anyone knows of one!! DH and I could use a night out! ![]()
Re: Parkville Nazarene Christian Daycare
PNCD is great. My dd went there for a short period. Both of my nieces have been going there since they were old enough. My sil taught there years ago with a lot of the same ladies who are there now. Both of my nieces have learned so much and they love it there.
I actually considered putting DD # 2 there in Sept when she starts daycare for the 1st time but I found that St Clares is much cheaper. About half the price. If that doesnt work out we will probably send her to pncd.
Both of my kids went there and we really loved it. There were no inspection issues when my boys were there! A lot of the teachers have been there for years and years and the directors (especially Stefanie!!!!) are great. I was terrified when my first child started daycare and she was especially helpful.
I personally think it's a wonderful place to send a kid for daycare
