outdoor swim lessons?

I've been waiting for summer to come to sign DS up for outdoor swim lessons but I"m running out of time.  Who else does outdoor swim lessons?  Is it miserable, or do the kids not care? 

Sometime I think about my childhood and living at the pool in the summer and I think of how my poor kid hasn't had his suit on but 3 times since May.

    My kids have been taking lessons at the Peter Kirk Pool in Kirkland, which is outdoor.  They dont seem to mind the temperature - the water is heated a bit.  The worst part is getting OUT of the water.  And I speak from experience because I had to get in with my two year old.  It's cold getting out. :-)  But not cold enough to NOT do it... even back in early July when it was like 60 degrees outside I thought it was fine. Not ideal, but fine.
