First day at daycare!

Dropped Rebecca off today for her first day of daycare.  I've been talking 'school' up to her for the past week or so and I don't think I even had to.  She is such a social butterfly that she couldn't wait to go see her new friends and had no problem telling me goodbye without even thinking about it.  I was worried for nothing.  Although, it was hard to leave her I feel like we are doing something right in the fact that she is such an independent little toddler.

Now, I'd be much happier if this day just flies by so I can go pick her up and see how her first day of school was.

    Aw, I'm sure she will be fine. The first day of any daycare is always hard.

    I'm glad to hear the start to the day went well. Hopefully she'll come home equally excited this afternoon. :)

    She was with my MIL.  We figured two was a good age to start her in daycare although her grammy misses her terribly.  She is still watching Michael for us though.

    Glad it's going well for her!
    We're starting D at a daycare 2 days a week in the middle of Sept. I'm nervous since he's so attached to daddy (he's home with him all day but works at night).
