Ug. I woke up with pretty badass cramps and ended up leaving work. Called in and my doctor recommended fluids fluids fluids fluids and staying off my feet - preferably laying on my left side. Feeling a bit better now, though they pick up some after I stand up or walk around.
As I wait for DH to get home from work I have been spending my day watching some daytime TV. And WTF. I'm currently watching a rerun of Kate Plus 8. WhoTF wears a mini skirt on a 15 hour plane ride to Australia?? She is so BSC that I can't look away. Plus her kids are super freaking cute.
Second WTF is to the Khloe and Lamar rerun I watched and her infertility fears. And then she got a call that she had nothing wrong with her. I will admit that I don't know any backstory on this, but come on. It made me hurt for those that honestly suffer with infertility.
Third WTF is TLC's show about Pippa. Really? Is there seriously enough material out there for a whole series, much less a single episode?
Re: Stuck at home - and a few daytime TV WTFs
LOL - time to channel surf a little... The Doctor's are pretty good mid-day and for the most part not as fru-fru alarmist like Dr. Oz... Oh heck, I put on the "old time shows" that are on reruns from when I was a kid ... Little House on the Prairie, Dukes of Hazard.. I know it sounds corny but shows that were actually well written and acted... DIY, Food Network, and HGTV are also good in the sense that you learn it's easier to do some things than you might have otherwise thought (or at least, you know what needs to be done so when you hire the contractor, you're golden!)
Lol I work from home and I think we are watching the same BS TV. I totally don't get the Pippa thing, sheesh TV.
Can't wait to watch my recorded True blood/Curb your enthusiasm tonight!!
Bahaha! I have a slight obsession with Kate, only because I live off of her craziness. I saw the mini-skirt, too, and could only shake my head. I haven't seen the Khloe and Lamar stuff, but TLC's show is the first time I've even heard about Pippa.

And that is why I put a TV in my basement instead of first floor....Daytime TV is creepy.
The only thing I will watch is HGTV during the day (or DVR stuff) but my MIL is a soap addict. Whenever she visits or we go to their house I get all caught up on who killed who, who had their baby stollen, who died but was really not dead, etc...

I finally had to turn it off. HGTV it is - I tried Food Network but it was like food porn. lol.
Starting to feel a bit better. I've done a lot of work on our registry today, so it hasn't been all time wasted! This registry thing is a lot harder than I expected it to be.
For real. I left work early today b/c of cramping and am doing the exact same thing as you. I had to turn the tv off b/c it was so bad.
And ditto on the BSC-ness of Kate and the WTF with Pippa. I've never seen anything with the kardashians so I have no input there.
My baby is two!!! Baby girl 9/17/09
My other baby is still a baby! Baby Boy 11-30-11
I watch a soap when I am home for the summer and DVR it while at work and since they are cancelling it for "food health show", it is getting WEIRD!!! Like all of these people who died of uncomebackable causes are alive and yea WEIRD
