I know it isn't Wednesday but WTF!?!

**Keep in mind, my co-worker is describing this event in GRAPHIC detail to our whole office. WTF!!!

 

One of my co-workers has a husband who is bed-ridden. If you ask her he is a parapalegic, but..well, whatever.

He has been hospitalized since early April for a bed sore. He had multiple surgeries and skin grafts and all that stuff. Well, apparently he went home over the weekend. He also has a tendancy to "get sick" (think..upset stomach, but not throwing up Ick!).

I guess he "got sick" on Saturday night and his "getting sick" managed to contaminate the wound/bed sore. My other idiot co-worker, who is listening to my idiot co-worker tell this story isn't comprhending what "contaiminated the wound" means so my other co-worker goes WAY into detail. OMG.

 

I was just about to eat my lunch and now I'm literally about to puke.

Who in their RIGHT MIND would think this is an appropriate conversation in the work place?

 

Just another reason why I HATE this job.

    I could not agree more...I just don't get people some times.

    TTC since 3/07. IVF#1 = canceled. IVF#2 = 0% fertilization. IVF#3 = BFN. IVF#4 = c/p.  
    Moving forward with Adoption 2017!

    ugh.  jeez. how embarrassing for her husband, to have her tell that. : ( Some stuff you just need to keep to yourself...  why do people feel like they have to emotionally unload...

    I could not agree more...I just don't get people some times.

    Well, if I didn't know him/her, I'd agree with you. Unfortunately she used to bring him to work with her and the things that he would announce to everyone-- private, nasty things about himself were just as bad, if not worse. So I guess he has no shame.

     

    It is all very distrubing.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Stopped BCPs December 2008 TTC since June 2009 6 unsuccessful Clomid cycles Dx Annovulatory due to PCOS January 2010 DH-perfect 4 unsuccessful IUIs Began Lupron July 7 for first IVF IVF cancelled; overstimulation and coasting lead to huge drop in E2 New testing with an Endocrinologist...perhaps a new diagnosis... So, not PCOS but Hashimoto's Thyroiditis November 2010 After a looong break, started seeing a new RE. Gearing up for IVF 1.2. Beta 1=197!! BabyFruit Ticker image

    Eeeewwww grossness! My SO would kill me if I told my coworkers something that personal about him. I would totally have to call her out lol, you should just start making really loud gagging sounds and see if she gets the hint.
