*Looks around cautiously* Is it safe to come out now?

Hey ladies!  *in her best radio voice* First time poster, long time lurker!  I wanted to pop my head out of my shell to introduce myself the other day, but it looked like there was a lot going on so I figured I'd wait until the dust settled ;-)

 I've been a single mom since I was about 16weeks prego and my LO Jayden (see adorable siggy pic) is 10 months now so it's not really new to me, but I thought it might be nice to have somewhere to go that wasn't overflowing with "My DH this" or "My SO that" posts, and of course my personal favorite "I'm a single mom this week because DH/SO is out of town." *gag*

So, a little about me and my life:  I'm a 27 y/o working mama with a beautiful baby boy, live in Orlando, my BD makes me stabby and I have some residual anger towards him.  I know it's not that obvious so I figured I'd throw it out there ;-)  Anyhoo, having some trouble adjusting to this new every-other-weekend thing and BDs perpetual stupidity that I'm sure you ladies can understand, so here I am ;-)  I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of eachother!

*sits down and flags bartender down* I'll have a bacardi and diet

    Welcome!

    Yes, one of the biggest frustrations in being a SP w/ an "involved" father is dealing with them for visitations. I have a EOW schedule too, so i feel your pain.

    Glad you came out of lurking!

    Hi! I'm usually a lurker (occasional poster) as well. But i'm pretty sure I'll be here a LOT more after my LO gets here & things with BD really get started. Oh joy. Anyway, nice to "meet" you!

    Hi!  It's unfortunate that you're here, but we're happy to have you join us!

    I hear you on the perpetual stupidity....STBXH is a master at that.  We are just starting EO Saturday nights, and you're right, it's hard to adjust.  I've found I make great use of that little time I do have without LO to catch up on housework, sleep, friends, and life in general.

    Thanks for the warm welcome ladies!  He doesn't have overnights yet, he's on a 9-6 EO S&S schedule but J comes home at night.  I'm thinking no overnights for QUITE a while!  Sucks for my social life (read: Social life?  what's that?) but I love my night time snuggles so I'm ok with it for now.

    I fear though that when I do eventually start dating again and the sex issue comes up that I'm going to go to one extreme or the other:  I'm either going to rip his clothes off like some sex crazed teenager, or I'm going to be so out of practice I'm like a 16 y/o virgin that's never seen a penis before.  Should be interesting! 

    When do you ladies start letting XH/BD have overnight visits?
