Pigtail Assistance Needed!

My child has the makings of a mullet!  It's curly and I can't seem to find a ponytail holder that will work.  I've tried the little bitty ones (they look like the bands for braces), and the regular ones are too big.  Anyone have suggestions for where to find baby-sized elastics, or a brand name?

  • These are what I have found to work best in Ava's hair:  https://www.goody.com/#/grid/ouchless/products/mini_gentle_elastics

They are kind of hard to find though.  In Florida I found them at Target but no luck at the Targets around me.  I then found them at Walmart and bought 2 packs when I did.  I didn't like the little bitty ones b/c they pulled when I took them out of Ava's hair.  Some of these you have to stretch just a little bit before putting them in so you can get it around 3 times.

  • we use Mini Polybands from scunci.com.  I had bought them at CVS a year ago. They work great!! They are the only bands I could keep in my daughter's hair.

I found some in Walmart on Hwy 9 in Alpharetta/Milton/Cummings (not sure of the address).  I also use this brand and style in DD's hair and love them.
