Anyone else's baby trying to crawl or teething already?
DD can't even sit up yet, but she gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth for 2minutes +. She's 5 Months! I know being mobile has to be just around the corner. I think she could sit up if she practiced, but anytime I put her on her bottom, she throws herself to the flow and pushes up on all fours. She has a one track mind...and that is to get moving! I discovered her bottom tooth broke through last night as well..
I want my BABY BACK! I didn't expect all this to happen so fast!
Anyone else have early birds?
Re: Repost from 3-6 months: "Isn't it too early for this?"
E sat up unassisted for about three minutes Sunday. She was so proud. I was too, but it made me wistful.
She also has one canine that has popped and the other is trying. I shouldn't have watched all that True Blood while pregnant.
T has her two bottom teeth in and I think she's teething again. She can sit unassisted for a min or two and then she will throw herself backwards like she's excited or something!
She's also rolling over like crazy...
Oh my goodness gracious...LOVE your E's headpiece!!! It is so stinkin adorable! I'm a huge fan of big ginormous bows
Silvie can sit up on her own now, no problem (but has to be on an even surface like the floor not the bed or couch) but she doesn't get the crawling thing completely yet. She still sticks her but up in the air, straightens her back legs and basically walks while she grips whatever is beneath her and pulls her face along the floor. Its sort of crazy looking. She can hold her head up and push up with her arms for a long time, just doesn't correlate the head up with the movement thing.
And yes, she's been teething since 4 months, but the bottom tooth is just about to break through.
My little man cut his two front bottom teeth at 3 1/2 months old, and just broke a top tooth last night
He's getting to big for 9 month old clothes too. He's 20lbs and about 28-29inches long...he's definately getting too big for me. I wanted a baby for longer lol now he's a big boy. He sit up unassisted unless he's really tired. All he wants to do is move. He'll hold my hands stand up and nose dive forward, like he just wants to walk and he's definately trying to crawl when he's on the floor he just hasn't nailed it down yet.. Where did the time go, he'll be six months in about a week and a half.
A has been trying to crawl for a few weeks. He can rock back and forth and even move his legs, he just can't figure out how to coordinate arms and legs.
I miss my baby, too!
My DD is following in her big bro's footsteps...almost literally. She is sitting up unassisted now (she's 6 mo. today). She prefers to stand rather than sit in your lap, and if I hold her in a standing position on the floor a foot away from me or so, she'll take steps toward me. DS walked at 10.5 months, and I think DD will be doing the same! Sometimes I miss my little snuggle-bug, but I am also looking forward to her being more independently mobile so I don't have to carry her everywhere. (She's heavy!!)
Still no teeth yet, but she's been drooling like crazy for over a month now. I keep thinking any day now I'll see a tooth coming through...
