...and called to tell me practically the moment after she POAS. I'm not sure if she was trying out a new special form of emotional torture or what, but she succeeded in raining on my parade this fine Sunday.
Generally speaking, I'm finding that people are very ignorant about fertility treatments. They might know the clinical steps in the process, but they know virtually nothing about the emotional drain on you and your DH. It was a thoughtless thing to do. I'm really sorry. I just found out this weekend that my best friend is pregnant (#3). She found out literally at the same time I found out my IVF cycle was canceled. I'm happy for her, but it was still hard to hear.
Baby girl Lila born 2013.
Baby boy Henry born 2015. Expecting our capstone baby (boy) early March 2018.

Yeah this really hit the nail on the head. Sorry sweets, I hope you're feeling better today!
DH's cousin (who is 24), called to tell us she's PG with #2, and had the nerve to say to me, "I don't know how this keeps happening!"
Um.....! I think a throat punch is order
Sorry about your SIL, she sounds like a piece of work. I guess the consolation is knowing that while she may be pregnant, she is also an a$$hole. Nine months from now she won't be pregnant but might very well continue to be an a$$hole!
Chin up... big hugs!!

Hi - I'm new to this section of the boards but wanted to send you hugs. My nephews mom (who isn't my SIL) seems to sneeze and get preggo...she has had 2 kids in 2 years (2 different dads too btw) and can barely afford to keep up her rent, doesn't take care of her kids much, smokes & drinks while she's pregnant.
Re: Just ducky. Unmarried SIL got KU on first try...

Sorry sweets.
Thanks. Even DH (her bro) was shocked by her insensitivity and wants to say something, not on my behalf but to address her overall insensitivity.
Ugh, this friggin' sucks.
... and vodka.
So sorry that your SIL was so insensitive.
