Just made Urologist appt for DH (kind of funny)

After the nurse at my RE's office told me DH's SA results (thousands, not millions), she said there was no need to do get another sample to see if that one was a fluke. Ya great, they will get their $$$ whether our IVF works or not, or even if it gets cancelled b/c we don't have any embies to transfer.

Well, after talking it over with DH, we just did not feel comfortable with that advice. I made him an appt with a Urologist who specializes in Male Infertility for next Friday.

His name? Dr. Seaman...

    HAHAAaa, omg, I'm sorry. I was reading that and nodding and going wow, yup that sucks, and glad that you guys talked about it, then I got to the end. That's awesome.

    I'm glad you were able to get in so quickly.  I can't help but laugh at his name.  :)  I hope he can figure out why his count is so low now.

    Dx: DH - Azoo, Me - Mild PCOS
    DH - sperm found! Seems to produce only for a few days every 70 days!
    Over 1 million in cryo in 15 vials over 6 samples
    IVF #1 - 1 beautiful expanded blast transferred, 4 snowbabies - beta #1 11/30/11 = BFFN
    FET #1, transfered 2 embies 2/16/12 = BFFN; 1 snowbaby left in cryo
    IVF #2 + CGH = 4 genetically normal embies on ice. FET September 26th
    SAIF/PAIF always welcome

    PERFECT! I hope Dr. Seaman has some good advice for you ;)

    At one time we had a Dr. Payne associated with our hospital. Um, Dr. Payne? Name change, please!!!

    TTC since September 2010
    March 2011: Diagnosed with PCOS
    First cycle 3/11: 50mg Clomid = No response
    Second cycle 4/11: 100mg Clomid = No response
    Third cycle 5/11: 2.5mg Femara + 150IU FSH CD7 and 8 = Follies, but BFN
    Fourth cycle 6/11: Femara + FSH again = Follies, but no ovulation and another BFN :(
    Fifth cycle 7/11: Femara + FSH again = Wait and see!

    Hahaha, that's actually hilarious.  He was destined for urology.  On a more serious note, good luck with the appointment.

    This is HILARIOUS!!!! Good luck to your DH and way to go with the second opinion!

    (MH's first sample was 300,000. It was a total fluke. We're still MFI due to motility, but samples are around 50-80 million).
