DD is 15 wks and I'm just wondering at what point did your baby seem to outgrow it? She takes a lot of naps in her crib, but she still sleeps in the RnP at night.
C slept nights and naps in there until 5 months. We moved her because we thought she wanted some more room...and she was starting to sit up in there!
She's done great.
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."

Oh, last week I started adding towels and blankets to slowly make it more flat so when we move him to the crib it isn't as harsh of a move. I add a new blanket/towel every couple days.
DS still only sleeps in his RNP, but he has reflux and needs to sleep elevated. We are going to try to transition him out by 5 months, as long as his meds are controlling the reflux.

We were planning on transitioning this past week, at 15 weeks. DD is now strong enough to "stand" up in it by tensing up her legs -- we figured it was time to get her more room. However, she just started rolling from back to front a couple of days ago which has thrown us off. Now she rolls in her sleep (in the crib) and gets stuck on her stomach, waking us all up. We'll try again once she can roll in both directions.

How do you do this? Do you strap him in?
No, we don't since he is swaddled. He can't move much and he doesn't roll.

ok, DD is swaddled but does this back arch where she sticks her feet on the edge of the RNP and pushes, I'm afraid she is going to fly out if i put anything underneath her. Great idea though!
We are obviously still in RNP but am trying to figure out when/how to transition to crib.
Six months, although my nanny still puts him in there for naps. I just finally succeeded in the crib transition. It was brutal, although I think more because he was also transitioning from being swaddled as well.
She's still in it. Half because I like her being right next to the bed, and half because we have made her bedroom our bedroom until ours is finished, so we can't put the crib in her room yet.
we just switched a week ago. She did really well however i can;t put her in the crib awake yet otherwise she just plays and next week we are going to work on getting her to nap in the crib as opposed to napping in the swing.
I also propped her butt up a little with a blanket because she had some slight reflux and she has apparently outgrown it( luckily) since she has not spit up at all in the crib.

#1-5.5 months. He was starting to want to roll around in his sleep, and seemed uncomfortable in the RnP. The transition was super easy, because his reflux was better controlled at that point and he wanted to sleep lying flat at that point.
#2-4 months. When she hit the 4 month wakeful, I figured it would be a good time to move her since she wasnt sleeping well anyway. After about 2 weeks, she started STTN again and has been ever since.
We tried last week and it was a miserable fail. She woke up a ton and each day go worse. We're traveling this week so we reverted back until we get back home and then I'll try again. She sleeps soooo good in the RnP and doesn't seem to be a fan of all of the space of a crib. She's pretty small though so I think that's part of it. Although she can't pull herself out, she does sit up in it. We strap her in just to be on the safe side.
Ella sleeps her naps and most of the night in the crib. If she does wake up at night usually between 4 -6, we bring her into our bedroom and she sleeps in the rock n play.
It's nice cause she can pretty much put herself back to sleep in the rnp. And if she can't all I have to do is roll over give her my hand, rock her or put the paci back in.
LO is 16 weeks. At three months we put her in her crib, transition went really well. Until she starting rolling over and not being able to sleep on her tummy. Last night we tried the crib again, I rubbed her back while she laid on her tummy and she fell asleep. She made a lot more nose than usual and must have had a bad dream because she was crying(but still asleep) and to me it sounded like a painful cry. :-( so I walked around with her and she's back in her RnP. Not sure what I'm going to do, I know she needs to get used to the crib but momma needs sleep too :-/
Transition NOW...we're 5 months and it as/is a bitch. She fails her arms and startles herslef...screams and as soon as you cradle her, she's dunzo, passed out. Then we can lay her back down and she'll sleep the rest of the night. We're on day 5...it's finally getting better.
