Caramel Cake

Kroger has this AMAZING caramel frosted cake in their bakery section.  My mom has bought it several times and my whole family is addicted.  Next time you need a quick dessert, I highly reccommend this one.  It is super sweet though so beware and have a big glass of milk on hand :-).

    I am skeptical because I have always (meaning 2x) found Kroger cakes to be disgusting.  Now, Publix cake on the other hand....

    I haven't had a piece of caramel cake in years.  When I was a little girl this lady from our church always made the most amazing caramel cake with 80 bajillion paper thin layers of cake w/ caramel icing in between each layer.  yum

    Matter of fact, I'm looking through 2 old church cookbooks and my grandmothers recipe cards and if I come across "Mrs. Evelyn's Caramel Cake" Imma need you to make me one.
