So much for keeping baby away from crowds and preventing him from getting sick.  I got sick and gave it to him. 

Thankfully it's just a head cold- should I call the pedi though?

He's sleeping normally, he's happy, no fever, just very sneezy and sounds phlemy in nose/back of the throat.

And any ideas what to do for the phlem?  His nose isn't clogged so the aspirator doesn't do a thing.  He's chilling in his swing right now because he seems happier and less phlemy sitting up.

    Unless he's having trouble breathing, develops a cough that won't stop, or develops a fever I wouldn't call. There's nothing they can do for a cold but tell you to keep sucking their nose out, cool mist humidifier, and let him sleep. GL hun I hope your LO gets to feeling better soon.

    Oh and for the phlem sleeping elevated and a cool mist humidifier should help.

    My baby is sick too.  Pedi said to put saline drops in her nose every 4 hours or so to thin mucous/phlegm. Also said to bring her in if she develops a fever or refuses to eat. Hope your little one feels better soon!
