Awake Time

How long are everyone's babies awake for before having a nap. Lately it seems like my LO is only awake for 2-21/2 hrs before wanting a nap again.

    Not sure if it's normal or not but my girl is the same.  Let's say she wakes up at 6 am (which makes me want to barf on its own).. she's taking her first nap by 8-8:30.  I confess that sometimes I try feeding her and getting her to take a nap right away so I can try sleeping an extra hour.  It sometimes works...

    Generally about three to three and a half hours is her max.

    Mine still likes to nap after 2 hours, 2 and a half max.  I think that is completely normal.

    We are awake 2-3 hours between naps. Closer to two hours. Her naps generally only last 30 minutes to an hour. An hour and a half if we are very lucky.

    My LO usually wakes up between 7:30 and 8am and usually only stays awake for an hour before taking a nap. His naps vary between 45minutes and 1.5 hours, and after that first nap he's awake between 2-3 hours before napping again.

    DS is usually up for 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours. He does the best if he asleep by the second hour. He also doesn't wake up for the day until 8:30-9:30. My guy loves to sleep (although he doesn't STTN yet).

    2-3 hours usually for my DD, sometimes more if she's overstimulated and fighting it.

    DD is up for about 2-2.5 hours between naps otherwise she will get overtired and cranky.

    this! but ours is closer to 45 mins to an hourIndifferent At our last pedi visit, she said at this age the average needed is around 14.5 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period.
