Hi Ladies!  I'm a lurker from TTTC.  I had hoped to start a new treatment cycle this week, but we found a cyst on my right ovary during the baseline ultrasound.  I'm bummed, but I realize that my body needs a break every now and then.  In hopes of staying positive, I thought I'd see if any of you had success stories from your own forced break cycle?  TIA!
TTC#1 since July '10. DH: Borderline Morph. Me: age 33. Hypothyroidism.
FSH #1: 10.9 (E2 80.7). FSH #2: 11.8 (E2 72.6). FSH #3: 9.1 (E2 36)
AMH: 2.6. AFC: ranges 9-21. HSG: clear. SHG: normal.
After 3 failed TI cycles, 3 failed IUI cycles, a couple of c/ps, we got our sticky baby on IUI #4 (first with injects).
Feb '12 Clomid/Menopur/Ganirelix/IVIL/Heparin/Acupuncture + IUI #4= BFP!

    Me :) BFP on a TTA cycle. My cycle must have had a mind of it's own, since we aren't sure how our timing led to this! Good luck to you.

    I got my BFP while waiting to start our first round of IVF.  It was our 2nd cycle w/o treatments.  We were actually waiting for AF to show to finish up some testing.  Truly a miracle:)  GL to you!

    First let me say, I know how you feel. ((HUGS)) I was forced into 2 breaks, 1st due to travel and I was not able to be monitored the 2nd due to a cyst.

    My success came after my cycle break due to a cyst, also on my right ovary.  The next cycle we went on to move from Clomid to Femara w/ Follistim injects.  At that time my right ovary reacted like a champ!  I ended up with 2 wonderfully sized follicles (which is why we decided to go onto IUI).

    Try not to stress out too much and use your time to reset and recharge! Big Smile   GL!  I remember being told when I was forced to break about someone else who got pg after their break...I hope this is the case for you too!  T&Ps

    I did not get pregnant while on a forced break from cysts after taking Femara for the first time.  However... the Femara cycle I had immediately after being on the BCP pills for the cyst was the only treated cycle in which I appeared to ovulate and have a clear *chance* at being pregnant.  It didn't work -- I didn't get pregnant then -- but in the end it was good to know that my body actually could ovulate at a somewhat predictable time for once.  

    That being said, I did have a surprise BFP last month, during a break, while saving for IVF. 

     

    On a TTC journey since March 2010 that is making me more appreciative of life and love. 7/20 -- Surprise phone call from RE after lap pre-op appt-- BFP! 8/5 -- Ultrasound #1 8/12 -- Ultrasound #2 Pregnancy Ticker My Imperfect Pursuit of Gardening

    Yes, this is true. I was getting ready for IUI#1 and on my u/s they saw four very large cysts on my right ovary. They told us we wouldn't be moving forward with the IUI due to this. DH and I were completely shocked and surprised when we got our BFP on this cycle. There is more in my Intro below.

    This! I had a m/c in November, was taking a cycle off and then was due to start IVF in January. until a "Miracle BFP" came on Christmas morning! I hated when people told me just to relax, especially since I was more relaxed that month than I had been in a long time and I ended up getting PG.

    I got pg on a break cycle - we were waiting for an appt w/ a  new RE & were going to do an injectible IUI.  I was already pregnant when we went for the consult.  I was so mad about having to take a break I didn't chart or anything - I figured we had no chance on our own.  When I look at a calendar even now, I still can't figure out how I got pregnant when they're saying I did - I would've thought I o'ed the week before.  Miracles do happen I guess :)

    July 2011 surprise BFP on a break cycle before injects!!! Please let this be it!
