Somebody wants attention.... or some of my popcorn.
What's everyone up to tonight? Who's here? What did you do today?
I painted the half bath, mowed the back yard and 1/3 of the front yard-- had to abort mission b/c of the heat and b/c of these gigantic bee like creatures that were chasing me.
So now I am relaxing on the couch, gonna read my book and maybe watch a weird show on TLC about people eating strange things. If I don't watch more of shark week.
Re: Roll Call! And PIP
LOVE the picture!! I see that same view often, but only a little chihuahua head!!
We just got home from the movies. Went to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes!! I LOVED it!!! I was practically cheering in the theatre when the Apes were tearing up the SF Financial District! (where I've worked the last 13+ years) So yeah, still a little bitter about the lay off, and LOVED seeing this on the big screen! During one scene the Apes were climbing on my Acupuncturist's building!
Oh, and we have Shark Week on right now!
I ran out of propane while grilling dinner last night, so I gotta figure out a new plan for tonight, since we didn't get a refill yet!
Enjoy the evening, ladies!!!

I didn't get off my couch until about 1pm. Massive headache from drinking too much beer last night. MH and I volunteered to work a fundraiser for wounded soldiers. It was a motorcycle rally and beer was free for volunteers. You do the math.
I just got done cleaning my downstairs and changing the sheets on our bed. I'm actually watching more of Shark Week now. I've been watching it every day and am kind of disappointed that so many of the episodes are repeats from previous years.
I gave you life, then you gave me mine.

I'm here!
DH and his brother and his sister's husband all competed as a relay team in a triathlon early this morning. It was only 82 when we got there at 6am, and it didn't get a whole lot warmer most of the time we were there because it was cloudy and even sprinkled! Then we relaxed at the house, later got lunch, and went shopping at the mall (it's tax-free weekend, and I got some new shoes). Now I'm bumping whilst DH plays Dragon Age II on the Xbox, and later his sister will be here to visit/stay the night. It's been a busy weekend. I'm glad everyone's gone for now. BIL is a huge PITA.
3 failed IVF with OE and 2 failed frozen DE cycles
Last fresh hail mary DE cycle starting Feb 2013
PAIF/SAIF always welcome
Very cute pic!
I got up early and went for a nice long walk with my dog before the heat hit. I came home and puttered (washed and vacuumed the floors and cleaned the bathrooms). I watched a movie in the afternoon and then went out to water the areas in the backyard that DH put grass seed on. I then went over to the neighbours and sat on the deck while neighbourhood kids played in their pool.
I was also constantly checking my computer for puppy updates. Our Olde English Bulldogge puppy (Hefner) was born today!
Tonight I am going to start packing for our trip and once the sun goes down and things cool off I will be heading out for an evening walk with a friend and my dog.
Great day so far!
We keep a second tank in our shed for this very reason! It is so disappointing when you are looking forward to a nice bbq'd meal and then the damn propane runs out!
We need to do that!! I was going to do steaks and scallops, but I think we will just have left overs tonight and get a refill tomorrow!!

Just got out of our regular gaming session. Dungeons and dragons with 4 other kid-less 30somethings. Good fun, made jambalaya for dinner, caught up on gossip, and had a lot of laughs. Need to go to bed soon though- I babysit all day on Mondays and I need my sleep to chase triplet toddlers all day.
I'm really impressed with the anxiety meds I'm on- usually after an afternoon full of lots of people I'm ready to crawl of in a corner and have a couple of days of alone time (can you say major introvert- even worse because we host so they're all in "my" space) because the stress kills me- but I'm feeling pretty good. I've been feeling pretty good all week long and getting things done (although not as much bumping as I usually do!). It's lovely.

I am glad you are feeling better sweets!
AND Naybird your dog is adorable!
I did see this, which was AWESOME. I feel like its the sharks' way of saying, "Guys, we know you think we're scary, but look, we've got a sense of humor too!"
But I agree that I would way rather interact with the poo end of a shark than the tooth end!

Well, it's now Monday morning (blech), but we had a great Sunday! I had to work in the morning and it was awful, but then in the afternoon we went for an innertube float with some friends down the Clark Fork river here in town, and then we went out to dinner with them and I had a really good salad with FRIED GOAT CHEESE on top... OMG, delicious! Then hubby and I came home and watched an episode of Dr. Who on Netflix, and then off to bed! It was great!
PS. I am really more of a cat person than a dog person, but the pups in this thread are making me want to add a dog to the family!
