How long is your 2 month old sleeping during naps and how often does he/she nap. I have been trying to follow the EASY method but it seems lately that during his awake time hes awake for 10 min and already yawning, does he really need another nap?
Another question, at what age did you start a schedule? The only schedule we have is bedtime...
Re: Schedules / sleeping / Napping
DS is 10 weeks but only 6 weeks adjusted.
When he has been awake for 1.5 hours, if he seems tired (fusses or yawning), we lay him in bed awake. Unless his colic is acting up, he will sleep usually a couple of hours, sometimes 1 hour sometimes 3 hours or more. He will stir but able to go back to sleep since we put him down awake!
Since he is still young, there are times when he is ready to go right back to sleep right after waking up and eating.
Also, when he's having a really colicy afternoon, naps are generally not longer than 45 minutes.
This. Except he does take one 3 hour nap every day. Of course there is the occasional day where he hardly sleeps at all and then the days where he seems to sleep all day.
