i can't believe deciding on a name was so easy.

(we won't be revealing it on here due to anonymity reasons... both of us try to remain as anonymous as possible on message boards)

when we first found out we were expecting, DH and I were in the car and he turned to me and said, "know what name i like for a boy?  xxxxx". i responded "ok". that was the only name we ever discussed prior to our big u/s on friday.

friday evening, i said i liked 2 middle names, he said he liked the second. so that was that.

i can't believe deciding on a name was so easy considering we argued and argued over our dog's name for WEEKS!

    You're one of the lucky ones. Me and DH fought for ages over the names of our kids. With this baby, we argued for about a week and that is the shortest time it has ever taken. With my other two kids, it took months before we found something that we both loved.

    Glad it was so easy for you! My biggest battle was convincing DH that if it's a boy, he's not going to be a Junior. With our girl name we never really disagreed, it was just hard finding something that was our style and fit well with our last name.

    You are lucky!  We haven't even begun to really decide!  We have a few names on a list but haven't really talked about it!  We have to come up with a boy and a girl since we are team green.  It is such a tough decision!!!!

    I'm glad it was easy for you! We were decided on the girls' name I think before we were even married, but the boys' name has been tougher for us. There are two we both like, but in different preference order. I feel sorta bad because I know mine will win out eventually and DH is just resigned to that.

    DH and I decided on a boy/girl name right after we got pregnant. We found out it was a boy and the name was decided. Took us about a week to figure out the middle name. that was a lot harder than the actual name

    That's awesome!

    My husband and I started talking about names soon after we started dating (six years ago)... I guess we knew it was going to be serious, heh. And after going through the entire baby book, we're going with the same boy name we picked back then! That was too easy : )

    BFP #1: EDD 8/29/11, MMC 1/14/11. BFP #2: Damien Isaac born 12/16/11. BFP #3: Rowen Cole born 7/28/14. BFP #4: EDD 9/16/16.
