Pregnancy after Lupron?

Hi, I am new to this board :)  ...I posted this question on the "getting pregnant" board over on the nest and someone referred me over here to get more advice, as some of you ladies may be (or have been) in this situation as well...  

Anyway, I am currently on the 3 month Lupron Depot injections to treat endometriosis.  My first injection was in March 2011, and my last one was June 2011.  I have a follow-up appointment in September and I will more than likely NOT be getting another injection, as my Dr. thinks that 6 months should be long enough to treat the endometriosis for now. 

So, in September I will either have the option to start BCP's again or start TTC.  We would like to start TTC in the next year or two anyway, so I am wondering how long it took any of you to conceive that may have been in a similar situation?  I know everyone is different, but I don't want to put off TTC if it could end up taking awhile if we end up having problems due to the endo.  I'm almost 28 years old and have been married for just about 2 years, and in a perfect world I would like to have my first child by the time I'm 30, but I know so many people that have had infertility problems, so it worries me that I might too, especially since I have endo :( 

Any advice or stories on your experiences would be very much appreciated!  Thanks ladies! :)

    Sorry to keep shuffling you around, but most of the ladies here are still ttc #1.  For success stories, you will have better luck posting on the Pregnant After Infertility  and the Success After Infertility boards.

    I am on Lupron for endo currently, but as ELF pointed out, were mostly trying to get #1 here.  I have no idea how long it will take me to get pregnant after lupron.  I did see 2 different RE's recently and was told that Lupron will help your endo but will do NOTHING for fertility.  So the only advice I can give you is to ttc sooner rather than later (especially if you have had a lap to remove endo). The longer you wait, the more chances you have of endo growing back. Endo can not only cause it to take you a while, but if you let it get too severe, can mean losing your fallopian tubes and/or ovaries.  For some, BCPs work to keep endo away but for me they did nothing. So, if you want to wait a few years, that is fine, just know that you might have to have a lap or repeat lupron therapy before starting to try.

    Thanks for letting me know ELF4321.  I will try over there too and see what they say :)  I wish all the ladies over here good luck on TTC.  It must be really frustrating and depressing to go down that road, but I hope that it will eventually happen for all of you (and me too!).
