DS hates having dirty hands

Does anybody else have a LO who HATES having dirty hands? DS is into absolutely everything, but as soon as his hands get dirty, he runs to me to get them cleaned. Sometimes he looks for something to wipe them off himself, lol. It can be the tiniest little piece of something on his hand, and it still seems to really bother him. Anybody else have a LO like this?

Yes, my son hates having anything on his hands like crumbs, food, dirt etc so he will come up to me, hold out his hands and go eeewww while screwing up his face.

DD is the same way. She hates being dirty period (hands, feet, face, the area around her gets dirty). If she even gets a little bit of food on her hand while she is eating she will have a fit until it is cleaned up. She will even have a fit if the table near her gets dirty. It bothers her so bad that she has learned where I keep the towels and goes to get a towel anytime anything gets dirty to clean it up. It is kind of cute in a way, but now that she can get her own towels it really adds to my laundry pile.

DS freaks when he gets dirty and will not be happy untill he clean himself or I help. He cleans up messes he makes with papertowles or washcloths he must not be my kid I could care less if i'm dirty

Yes! Aditya has had OCD like symptoms since he's been able to realize there's something on his hands. He doesn't like things on his hands, he has to have stuff put away in an exact way, he has to touch the microwave then toaster every time he's in the kitchen...LOL!

Tegan isn't a fan of getting dirty and definitely hates it when her hands get dirty. Even just a small speck of something will bug her and she'll want her hands wiped. DH gives me a hard time and says it's because I've always been a little anal about her being clean. It's possible that is the situation, but I also think it's just part of her personality. I've always hated having my own hands dirty.

Mine is the exact same way. And at the pool he has to clean off his chair, etc... Not a fan of debris!

My son is the same way. He can play and get dirty all day long but one little thing on his hands and it's "eewww" over and over until I wipe his hands off. It's even funnier now that he has started picking his nose.

DS absolutely hates having dirty hands. We were recently on vacation and I gave him a s'more. The marshmallow came off on his hands and he freaked out. He tried wiping it off on the ground which only meant that grass, dirt, and leaves also stuck to his hands. Then he tried wiping them off with his own hands, but they were sticking together. If he wasn't so upset by it, it would have been really funny.
