I'm sitting here (at work) CD2, wondering why I still think I could get KU every cycle. The chances of that happening naturally are slim to none, but still every month I have the thought in the back of my head. In fact yesterday I almost convinced myself to POAS. I think I'm losing it! Indifferent

I'm definitely ready to get the show on the road-orginally when she told me I would need to do IUI and maybe IVF I really wanted to wait to give myself time to process-now waiting until next month seems like forever!

According to my RE I have about a 3% chance of it happening naturally every month and I still end up POAS every. single. month.

It does seem like forever, but it will be here before you know it! I am anxious and nervous for our upcoming appointment. It seems far away, the end of the month.

Funny about POAS, I think we should buy stock in HPTs!

I know the POAS issue - I convince myself I could be KU every single month. It just seems to always get into my head and not leave until AF arrives. Wonder what I will do while we are on a break and I am not charting or using OPK's - perhaps I will still POAS. ::sigh::

Otherwise, I have been super busy trying to get things together for my parent's 50th anniversary this weekend. We are having a party for around 50 people, it's at a hall, but we still have to get all the beveridges and do a fruit tray, as well as all the decorating. I am making the centerpieces and a box for the cards to go in. I also have to scan all of these pictures to do a slideshow and make the favors too. I drive myself crazy!!

Hi girls, been having a tough time lately because I'm surrounded by babies and pg women irl right now. Will be making an appt in sept to start our application with the adoption agency. I think they should have a rewards program where you buy a certain amount of hpt's you get some free. I always waste so much money on them because I prefer the digitals and in the 8 years we have been trying we have only gotten pg once on our own and that pregnancy ended up ectopic. I've also been working on new baking recipes because I'm going to sell baked goods for the holidays to raise some money towards adoption.

Congrats to your parents and their 50th anniversary! Mine will be celebrating 30 years in November! Sounds like you have your hands full! I'm sure everything will turn out fantastic!

When we were "on a break" from ttc (I just wasn't charting or peeing on things) I drove myself crazy. I never knew if AF was late or not. I am going through the same thing right now. Since our DX I haven't been charting or peeing on anything...

That is exciting going to start the paperwork! I hope the process is fast for you. ITA there should be a rewards program with HPTs, if not free ones, give me some money to try "the next step". lol, I can wish right?

AF sure loves baked goods, I could use some of those right about now!

Hey Ladies! CD 1 for me (Finally!) I was on CD36 with very little symptoms and 2 BFN. I wasn't expecting a BFP since we already determined I'm not ovulating. But, now that CD 1 and AF are here I will start Clomid in 4 days. I'm a little nervous, but glad we have a plan and some "assistance" for my screwed up reproductive system. Other than that, I'm super busy with changing departments, positions, and training. My brain hurts...

Not much progress on the TTCAL front here. I had a conversation with my RE nurse about what we'll need to do when we're not TTA anymore. She launched into this big long thing about going on Clomid. I was like "whoa whoa whoa...we never talked about Clomid before." She got all defensive and ... blah blah blah. I'm not going on Clomid (for now). I ovulate fine. This was the same nurse that tried to get me to change my HSG because she "didn't want to lose her job." She's a bit of a peach.

So I'm still thinking October. I finally joined a gym and can tell I'm getting stronger but have lost all of 2 pounds in 2.5 weeks of busting my a$$ 4-5 days a week. Thinking about going back to my naturopath. I'm sure there are things out of whack there too (possibly contributing to my lack of weightloss). Next two months are just focused on getting myself back in order, I guess.

I hear you on the POAS thing. I've thought about it during cycles that we've abstained the whole time! Nuts, right!?

Hey hun! I know i'm tardy to the party, but i've been busy these past few days. My mother, aunt and uncle are cleaning out my grandmas house... so i've been over there helping and grabbing things that I want. It's been difficult, it's like shopping at grandmas house and I have bids on the big ticket items. It's weird and I don't like it.

But today they are taking my grandmas best friend to a casino. We just don't want to lose touch with some of these just because my grandma is gone.

As for TTCAL, I now have to sit back and wait it all out. I need to call my doctor on Monday and see about getting everything set for femara in case I get my period while on vacation.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks they could be KU when you've had AF. I sometimes take an OPK to see if that's dark.... because that's a little cheaper.
