Update - Boo to temp spike fake-out

I had a huge (and surprising) temp spike yesterday. I thought maybe I O'ed super early (at least for me). Alas, no such luck. It went crashing back down today and OPK's are still negative. I'm still hopeful that with the acupuncture it will be earlier than last cycle! FX!

Thanks! Acupuncture has been an interesting experience! The first time I totally hated it. It was ackward and more painful that I expected (esp my feet!). My acupuncturist said it hurt more than normal b/c my chi was inbalanced. I was like okay whatever, lol. Now I've gone 4x and it's soooo much better! I feel relaxed when I leave and while some of the spots are still uncomfortable, they're not as painful as the first time. The plan is to go 2x a week for my entire cycle.

My insurance does cover it (with unlimited visits!), but it wasn't a simple thing. There are no acupuncturists within a 100mile radius that are in my network. There are plenty in my area though. I called my insurance company and asked them what I could do. My acupuncturist is an MD and in their network for that, but not acupuncture, so b/c none are in the network, they will accept services from covered MD's. I pay up front for all my visits, and then they give me the paperwork that I can submit to my insurance company on my own for reimbursement. I've heard a lot of docs do it this way. My doc says it's b/c if he joined the network and accepted their tiny payments his practice would go bankrupt.
