when did you start using weights again? I am on Day 3 and doing just cardio, but I am not sure when to start using weights? I was thinking in a few more weeks, but dont want to push it. TIA

I started lifting again at 2 weeks PP. However, I continue to lift weights throughout my entire pregnancy. I was at the gym the day before I went into labor. Just try it and see how you feel! Maybe do less weight so you don't overdo it and if its easy, add more.
I havent done anything else besides walking and cardio and I am 4 weeks pp. I did have a C-section though and I still dont feel 100% myself, so I am just trying to take it slow. I will give myself 1-2 more weeks before I start my normal work-out routine.
I am waiting for clearance from my OB at my pp appointment (Tuesday) before I start weights again. So far I'm only doing very light cardio (walking) until I get the OK otherwise...don't want to push it too much.

How were you all cleared to work out so early? I was told just to walk and such until my 6 week appointment!
Did you tear? I tore with both my kiddos and was told walking only for 6 weeks because I had torn and been stitched up.
I
I had an easy delivery and dr said I was able to do whatever as long as I felt okay. I worked out at 2 weeks when DD was born, so I know I am okay. I think some Dr's still follow the routine answer. I have read online that it is okay to do a light workout, which is new for Dr's to give this advice. So maybe thats why? All I know is I dont push myself, if I feel strange I go home!
