    A little worse, but not hopeless. Before coming to TB I though unprotected sex around ovulation = baby, I never knew how many obstacles there were.

    Could someone please link to The Great Sperm Race?  I searched it on Youtube and what I came up with didn't seem like the same thing you guys are talking about.

      I felt the same about it. I had already read a few books and lurked on this site a while, so I didn't learn anything new from it. However, I think it was great and it got me wondering why, out of all the odds, am I here. I felt pretty special after watching that.

    I felt better because it showed me why it can take seemingly healthy couples awhile to get KU. Though it's only been five cycles which is not a long time to be trying by any stretch of the term, it made that "it's been forever" feeling turn into a solid "I'm fine for now and still in that normal range" feeling

    The Great Sperm Race didn't make me feel as bad as The Great Sperm Race online game!

    That was fasinating! I didn't know it took so long for them to get into the fallopian tubes. I had a totally different "scenario" of how it happens in my head.

    i knew that our odds to get pregnant each month were small and watching the great sperm race really helped me understand the obstacles of getting pregnant. I wouldn't say it make me feel better or worse about our odds just gained more knowledge

    I had researched some of this beforehand and knew the odds but it definitely put it in perspective for my husband and helped him realize that it doesn't always just happen. The only thing is that he now compares it to the Lord of the Rings and Frodo's epic journey Big Smile
