My Lo immediately stops drooling and being fussy when I put it on her. I usually use it as a bracelet when she is in the carseat, necklace when she is in my sight and i take it off her when she is sleeping.
We have one... no teeth yet, and he isn't a fussy baby so no change there either. Still a little drool monster.
He has been doing a lot less gnawing on my fingers... not sure if it is related. He is also sleeping better, but we introduced some new sleep training methods around the same time.
His lives around his ankle for the most part... too much trouble to move it all the time and I am already freaked he will smother himself with his monkey blanket, no need for more things to worry about.
I only know one person who has tried it but she says it's amazing. I don't know why it wouldn't be safe--it's not a very big/necklace so there's no threat of choking. But for some reason she says it works even though she has no idea why
Re: Amber teething necklaces?
Almost everyone I know has tried them and think they're stupid.
I refuse to even waste my time/money buying them. People can claim they're safe all they want but I don't buy it.

I haven't really noticed any big difference with ours. Maybe a bit less drooling. But it's super cute even if it doesn't work.
About safety: I don't let LO sleep in it and he doesn't tug at it at all during the day.

It hasn't reallty helped much and LO's top teeth are almost visible. I've still had to use tylenol and she's a whiny mess.
I bought mine on Ebay from a seller in Latvia. I spent $15 on two necklaces instead of $25 on one. They're cute.
ETA: I leave it on 24/7 and she sleeps in it. I guess I'm a risk taker.
