First time I'm really bummed that I can't get my drink on

My sisters at home wedding reception is tonight (she had a destination wedding in Seattle last month) All our friends and family in, going to be one hell of a party...

Just the first time I'm bummed this whole pregnancy I won't be able to party with everyone. Boo. Though they're having a cookie table and I'm hitting that up fo' sho!

    It is.. My parents were born and raised in Pittsburgh.. The cookie table is a Pitt tradition. All family members contribute and make their most delish, fancy cookies to contribute... You end up with 100's of cookies.. I can't wait ; )

    Are they having a full bar with a bartender? My new favorite "mocktail" is a virgin fruit mojito. You don't get the 'rum-warmth' that comes with a real one, but they are super tasty and festive, and I can suck down as many as I want without worrying about a hangover! Stick out tongue

    My cousins wedding is tonite as well. DF gets my drinks. I'll stick to coke. But a cookie table sounds GREAT!!

    Cookie table sounds delicious!

    My SIL got married in May and had an open bar...I'm not that big of a drinker, but when it's available I go for it.

    It was a bummer that I couldn't have any drinks, but the party got better as night came, if you know what I mean...you wouldn't believe the footage I got on my camcorder! lol

    I always take for granted that the cookie table isn't widely done at weddings (I'm also from Pgh).  I've never been to a wedding that didn't have one!
