Long story short: One of our renter's works at a beauty salon doing nails and such. I think it's important to support our renters, so I had her give me a pedicure.

She has been the sweetest since finding out were are expecting and on a monthly basis when she drops off the rent she drops off suprise baby gifts (small hand me downs from her daughter, but it's the thought that counts. She is so sweet).

Anyways, we were talking and she said she had another suprise for me! I of course object, until she says it's an item she will loan me but once I get further along I can give back to her. And what was it??

A DOPPLER!!!!

So after my crazy post a few days ago, she had a doppler! I now have a doppler!

I think I went nuts last night when, for the life of me, I couldnt find the HB. For a whopping 45 minutes I could find my heartbeat like a champ, but no baby. I was getting pretty scared and nervous... and then I went way down low and BAM! There it was whooshing away!!!!!!! Ugh what an amazing feeling :)  I just layed there for like 5 minutes just listening to that happy little beat :)

So my crazy psycho self can finally say there's still a baby in there! :)

    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    Oh yay!! That's so awesome! How nice of her to loan it to you. I'm glad you'll get to hear that beautiful heartbeat whenever you want to! :)

    That was such a great surprise and I hope the doppler helps give you some reassurance.  You can find video's on how to use it on you tube or just google it.  The HB stays down very low for a long time.
