Footie pj's or 2 piece?

As you can see my LO is only 6 months (but wears 12 months). I need to buy some more pj's & I know that as they get older there's a lot of 2 pieces. But it seems that footie pj's would be more comfy b/c there's no waistband to dig into him against the firm mattress. Ok maybe I'm totally overthinking this but does anyone have any advice?

It's so warm and humid in Ohio right now that my little guy goes to sleep in a onesie every night. If it were a little cooler though I would do the one-piece with no feet like the pj's they have at Carter's - I've also got a long baby so that's part of the reason.

We do one piece no feet when it is cold or a onesie when it's warm...she's a heater so we don't have to go to the one piece no feet for a while!

I buy the two piece sets from Walmart. They are only 5 bucks! She has eczema, and since they are made from organic cotton they work great. They don't dig into her sides at all. They do run small so I get a size up.

At this point, I wish we had 2 piece pj's. DS doesn't sit still long enough for me to snap all of the snaps on his pj's anymore.

We get the 2 piece PJs from WalMart as well! Definitely size up though! R can wear 3-6 or 6-9 regularly, and I had to get her 9-12 in the PJs.

I would buy whatever is cheapest. I mean, babies usually don't care what they have on...
Actually I wouldn't get any at all. We have onesies coming out of our ears; might as well use what we have.

I gave up on one piece footy PJs, no matter what size it seemed like DD would get her legs all caught up in them somehow so while it's warm she just sleeps in a diaper shirt and when its cooler we'll get some 2 piece ones.

We have both footies and 2 piece. I think he looks so cute in the 2 piece, haha. He's been getting his feet tangled in the footed jammies since he moves so much and pulls up in his crib so the 2 piece help prevent that.

I know that Carter's 9 mos footie pj are HUGE. My son is in 12 mos stuff now as well, but I just bought him a skeleton footie pj for halloween from carters because when I held it up to him it was monstrous.
