white bump on gums

my nealy 7 week old has a white bump on his gums. its located near the back and is raised. it is only one stop and seems to get getting bigger and is hard. it does not look like thrush. there are no white patches.  he has been very fussy the last couple of days and has been drooling for about 2 weeks.  i gave him some tylonal today and he was much happyer for a few hours. this could be a tooth already is this location, could it? anyone have any ideas?

Re: white bump on gums

  • It could be an Epstein's Pearl. (I'm not sure what a "milk tooth" is, so sorry if that's the same thing.) My DS had one at his 2 month checkup that I hadn't even seen. The pedi said it was painless and would go away on its own. His was on top, on the outside near the back.
