  I do not have any experience with your condition, so I am just speaking about seeing a high risk OB in general.  It's really no different for me than seeing my regular OB except that I get u/s and cerivical checks at every visit (once a week).  That probably varies depending on the patient and the reason you are being seen.

   It sounds to me like you belong with one, but if nothing else, it gives you an opportunity to be monitored much more closely.  Like I already said, I see both doctors...and I see both of them once a week.  I am not going to lie, it is a little annoying to have to go twice a week to the doctor, but I like every opportunity I have to ask questions.

  I don't know of any specific questions I would have in your position, but remember that there are NO dumb questions, so take advantage of the knowledge and expertise of your high risk dr (and your regular dr) and ask as many as you want!  Good luck!

  Hi there! Sorry to hear you have to go to a high risk doctor. My OB is a high risk dr (MFM). I would ask things like how often will you need to see them, what additional testing/monitoring will be done, do they deliver (mine does, most comments I see on here, they don't)... Can't think of any others right now. Good luck!
