Tub Storage Question

We received the FP Whale of a Tub at our shower a few weeks ago and while it is adorable, it's also, well, a whale. Any ideas or BTDT advice on storing these types of tubs?
I was thinking about using a hook in our shower but wasn't sure if it would hold well and if any of you might have a more brilliant plan Wink

    I hope you get some responses.  I put it on the registry and received it at the baby shower but of course did not think about where am I going to keep it.  I think its so cute that I don't want to get a different one.  I thought about putting it on a hook behind the door.

    I plan to put ours on top of our dryer (laundry area right next to the bathroom).

    We used ours in the guest bathroom, so we just left it in the tub and closed the shower curtain.

    That's the one we registered for.  Our plan is to use suction cup hooks to hook it in the shower when its not in sure.  I can't imagine letting it take up precious closet shelf space :)  I haven't actually seen it in person but our original thought was to drill two little holes in the back top part under the lip to make hanging easier.

    I got a fisher price puddles of fun tub at my shower and it has a hook on it (there's a pic under the Baby Gear section of my blog)!  I think it was bought on clearance though.

    A suction cup or hook in the shower is a grea idea. I had an inflatable duckie tub for Layla, and it had a suction cup on it already. So handy! I would probably stick with a hook though, being suction cups don't seem to work forever, at least not for me!

    We used it - we LOVED that tub.  We turned it over in the bathtub to drain it every time, and we never "put it away."  If you have a bathroom that is just for your LO, I'd suggest doing the same.
