ntyravgmom - is this the doll?

Is this the doll you were talking about - Starr?

My middle sister had this doll. Let's just say this doll met with an unfortunate accident since she wasn't Barbie.

  • *Gasp!* I think it is!!! That outfit looks so familiar. :-) Wow! I think we ditched the overalls after awhile and put her in a fancy pink dress. I think the overalls velcroed in the back. We had tons of Barbies so this was just something different in the scheme of things. So sorry your sister hated hers.

  • I thought she was pretty cool because of all the stuff she came with. And I think she had lots of articulation, too. I think you could even bend her wrists.

My sister definitely wasn't pleased with "not Barbie". Starr met her demise in the oven & my mom was an unwitting accomplice. My sister put the doll in a cold oven, which my mom later turned on to pre-heat for dinner not knowing the doll was in there. When my mom finally found out...talk about not being pleased, lol.
