1. Pretty good. Got my snoogle this week and enjoying it.

2. Highlight- I cleaned all the gear (tub, swing, bouncy seat, walker, exersaucer, etc.) from my older sister I've been storing in the basement and garage for 4+ years. I know I won't need some of this stuff for while but it was filthy and I wanted it cleaned and put in the nursery. I may have to dust/wipe it again, but shouldn't need to scrub. I'm so grateful for all she's given us. Lowlight- nothing comes to mind.

3. Not really the weekend, but today, I'm meeting a fellow bumpie friend for lunch and swimming. Tomorrow- DH and I are going to the lumber yard to finalize our new deck plans and hopefully order the wood. Then we are going to Crawfordsville to celebrate his parent's anniversary with them & family. Sunday- not sure.

4. I always said I wanted 2. I have 1 sister and thought that was ideal. DH has 1 brother, but claimed he only wanted 1 kid. I said I didn't want to have an only child, and was hoping to convince him. We're pregnant with twins, so as long as nothing goes wrong, looks like I get my way. Plus, as long as it took us to get pregnant, it's not like we want to go through all that again.

1. Good! I think the teething is finally over and the ugly side-effects are, too, so it's been a little more relaxed around here.

2. My mom getting back into town and going to paint pottery with friends were the highlights. Lowlight was definitely the eleventy billion poopy diapers I changed and the ridiculous amounts of diaper rash cream that I had to smear on after every diaper change. I never want to see a tube of diaper cream again.

3. Having mom over for dinner tonight and making homemade pizza. Maybe Taste of Z-ville tomorrow night. Farmer's market and church are the standards.

4. Hm...not sure. I think I always thought I would have 2, since it was my sister and me in our family. DH thought he would have 3. DH's number has changed, at least in terms of me being pregnant. It was really hard on me so I said I am definitely stopping after 2 (if we randomly happen to get pg with multiples the next time, so be it). If we don't think our family is complete with 2, then we will look into adoption.

1. 32 weeks 3 days pg and feeling pretty decent! 2. Highlight: being at home last weekend and Monday for my baby shower. Lowlight: getting home at midnight on Monday and then going to work bright and early Tuesday morning. We've been on the go ever since and I'm tired. 3. Movers are coming today with our stuff, so working on that all evening. Childbirth express class tomorrow all day, then entertaining my visiting inlaws tomorrow night. Yippee. Sunday will be church, more unpacking, and maybe starting to sand the crib. 4. I always wanted 4 because I loved how much fun (and chaos) there was on my mom's side of the family. She's one of five. DH only wants 2. Now that I'm getting pretty pregnant and reality has set in, I'll be lucky to convince myself that three is a good number. Not sure I want to do this two more times!

1. how are you feeling? 18 weeks pregnant with twins and feeling pretty good.

2. highlight/lowlight of your week? highlight: dinner with friends at Granite City last night. lowlight: work has been more stressful than normal...yuck.

3. weekend plans? Tonight: probably take-out and a movie. Saturday: brunch at Bub's Cafe (and I'm hoping they have the graham cracker-crusted french toast), car shopping, and then a birthday dinner for a friend at Cooper's Hawk. Sunday: church and then DH is golfing. I need to clean, do laundry, go to the pool, read a book, etc.

4. when you were younger, how many kids did you want to have when you were older? How about your DH/SO? Has that changed now (whether you already have kids or not)? I've always pictured myself with 2-3 kids. DH wants 2. I'm not sure if we will have anymore after this twin pregnancy. I think I'd be happy with these 2, but many factors could impact my decision (money, jobs, how easy the next 4 months and newborn stages are, if we'd need fertility help again, etc).

1. Good!

2. Highlight: being back together as a family.

Lowlight: Chris is still working so much His private practice is super busy, which is a good/bad thing. Thinking about my dog (see post below) has really got me down too.

3. Be jealous: I am getting ready to go for my massage/facial/mani/pedi/haircut, then am having a date night out to 14 West downtown. I think we are going to stop at Tastings beforehand too! Might go to the fair this weekend. Sunday night we have tickets for My Morning Jacket at the Lawn at White River.

4. As a kid I wanted 2. As an adult I've wanted 3 until Connor was born. He is great now (except sleep) but was a very difficult infant and I don't know if I can do that again. Maybe if my husband helped out more...

1. HALF BAKED TODAY! I'm feeling good and excited to make this milestone!

2. Highlight: Being half baked (pretty excited about it). And went to the moves with DH last night. We haven't gone to the movies in A LONG time! AND my grandma and aunt are in town.

Lowlight: My mother said several times this week that she "can't get excited" about my pregnancy yet "becuase of my history." I've wanted to slap her. She said that she went through my miscarriages and she knows exaclty how I feel so she can't be excited yet. The problem is that I AM EXCITED!

3. No big plans for the weekend. Grandma and Aunt are in town so probably spending time with them.

4. I wanted 3, DH didn't really have an ideal number. I don't think he actually had a plan of getting married and having kids....Now, I believe we will have as many as God allows us to have.

That is a very strange response. I'm sorry. Is she expecting you to have problems with this pregnancy because you m/c before? As far as I know, having a prior m/c =/= not having a healthy pregnancy, especially now that you're at 20 weeks.

It seems like she should be excited, too, since this one is a sticky baby and you're halfway there!! Party!!!

That is a very strange response. I'm sorry. Is she expecting you to have problems with this pregnancy because you m/c before? As far as I know, having a prior m/c =/= not having a healthy pregnancy, especially now that you're at 20 weeks.

Yeah, it's quite irritating. She seemed excited while I was in the beginning..and quite nervous. Now that I'm feeling movement, half way there and bought a crib...now she's saying it's too early to be getting excited "becuase of my history."

The thing about "my history" is that I miscarried both others in the first trimester....

1. how are you feeling: 34 weeks, 6 days pregnant and whiny.....i think it's safe to say i've reached the whiny point of pregnancy. i just feel huge. i'm constantly worried about growing a ginormous baby. and i'm really quite tired of sweating in places i don't want to feel sweat.

2. highlight of my week: we got new flooring in our dining room, kitchen and two baths. so glad we decided to do it, and so happy it's done!

lowlight of my week: see # 1

3. weekend plans: we went to a cookout tonight to see some college friends from california. tomorrow my great (maybe even great, great?) aunt is turning 100, so we're going to a bday party for her. then an outdoor wedding. and nothing on sunday.

4. how many kids: i grew up wanting 4. dh and i have always agreed upon 3. i've often thought i want to plan for 3 kids and then somehow have a surprise baby #4. (just you know, not when my youngest is like 16.) i just don't know about affording 4 children (or 2, or 3 for that matter).

1. How are you feeling? Actually pretty well. I think the garage sales helped.

2. Highlight of the week? Peanut squirmed when my DH starting talking to The Bump.

Lowlight? Migraines that won't go away. *sigh*

3. Weekend plans? Paint the nursery and prepare for my cousin's wedding next weekend. The first wedding I'm in (not as the bride) and I'm hugely pregnant. Woo.

4. How many kids? I wanted two. DH was always an "eh....I dunno." We've settled on two at this point - but we'll see if other plans are made later.
