XP: Joke is still on me...

I posted this on IF Vets:

"I think I last updated Tuesday that AF appeared & when I POAS, they were all BFN's. I had to do my Beta Wednesday regardless (RE's policy). Much to my surprise it's positive, 42.4 to be exact (they like it to be 50-100, of course). I of course start pee'ing on everything. HPT today is darker than yesterday and I'm still bleeding. WTF? Should I have any hope or is this just a cruel joke? "

Anyone have any experience with this? Not to be TMI, but it's not like the pad is saturated like a normal period, it's mostly when I wipe, that's when I'm like UH OH. Beta #2 is tomorrow. TIA!

    Many women have bleeding/spotting early on. It could also be residual implantation bleeding. Congrats & GL with Beta #2 !

    OMG congratulations! I had light bleeding in the beginning too. Turned out to be implantation. I hopehopehope that's what's happening here. Many T&Ps coming your way, hon!!

    this is great news!  many women have light bleeding early on so I would try not to worry to much about it.  Apparently you can even have severe bleeding like i did and things can still be fine. 

    Congrats and sending lots of doubling vibes.

    I bled once or twice a week for my entire first trimester....and everything turned out ok. As my doctors and nurses all said - some women just bleed!

    I hope your bleeding stops, your betas continue to rise, and you have a wonderful 40 weeks with us on this board!
