left milk in the car. . .should I use it?

I pumped at work today and then when I got home I forgot to take the milk out of the car.  It was in bottles in a lunch/cooler type bag.  It was hot out today, and it stayed in the car for about 2 hours.  It was probably room temperature when I remembered.  what do you think?  should I toss it or is it ok?  it was never frozen and my baby would be drinking it tomorrow.  any input would be appreciated.  TIA!

  • I'd smell it.  You will know if it's no good.

  • i left milk in the car for 3 hours and it was already bad. and this was in an insulated bag with ice packs. The simple truth is that it's summer. The sun is strong. The regular rules don't apply.

This is from someone who leaves fresh milk out at room temp for 6 hours or more on a regular basis - but I would toss it if there's any smell at all.
