Fert Report in!!!

Of the 28 that were retrieved, 19 were mature. Of those 19, we have 13 great embies growing as I am typing this!!!! I am really excited to have that many to work with, its amazing what using a donor can do. As for the donor, she is not doing to well. I called the agency and they told me that she is in major pain and may have to go for a "fluid drain". I feel so horrible for her, really really bad. DH thinks that they should have not told me, but I don't know what to think!!! I really hope that things get better for her. I am thinking of her a lot and am so thankful to her. As for us now, we wait to see how things progress and we will either do a Sat transfer or Monday morning. My fingers are crossed for Monday. I will update again when we know.Thanks again for all the support!

Wow, that is so great! I'm sure you've already thought of this, but maybe you could get your donor some kind of "spa" package or something to look forward to that the agency could get to her? Having been pretty woozy and awful feeling after my own ER, I know I would have loved it if someone had gotten me something like that--and I was doing it for myself, not someone else! Of course, she's already being compensated, so maybe that's over the top--but I think that's probably what I would do.

That is wonderful news about your embies! I hope they continue to grow beautifully. I am so sorry to hear about your donor. You can't blame yourself for her pain though. She knew the risks of doing what she did but she chose to still go through it to help someone in need. She is an angel! T&P coming her way as well as yours!

I'm so sorry your donor is in pain now. I really hope she has a speedy recovery. I agree with the PP that you can't blame this on yourself. But, I do understand worrying about her. ((HUGS)) Sending T&Ps to both of you!

As for your donor, can you make her a gatoraid, smart water, coconut wAter and salty snack care package?? Maybe take it to the office and they can have it delivered to her??

This is a super fun idea! I am a little surprised they told you she was in pain, just because thy ought to know you would worry about her on top of everything else.... but that said, it's nice of you to be worried Poor thing, I hope she feels better soon too!
