BH? Can't tell the difference...

I honestly don't know if I've had any BH. My midwife explained it and I've looked it up online, and it's not helping! For one thing, baby is sitting with her butt against my stomach, so whenever she moves a certain way my tummy gets hard because her little butt is there. I'm just so confused...does anyone have some magical way of explaining it to me so that I can tell the difference???

    hmm.. only way I could tell you is that you won't just feel a baby butt- your entire stomach will be hard. But I understand your confusion, there have been times when my LO stretches out and I think it might be one. But with mine, I feel period like cramps, so I know it isn't that when she does it. (A lot of people on here have said that there is no pain, so I guess that just depends on the person)

    For me, when it is the butt, my belly is hard only in that spot. With BH, my entire belly gets hard. I also feel a lot of pressure and feel short of breath.
