I got ridiculously engorged after my first pregnancy. Is there any chance it won't be as bad the second time around, or should I expect the worst?

    With my first child I engorged almost all the time. I had an oversupply almost until she turn 1 when I stop BF her. Anyways with my second/current daughter I was engorged only for 2 weeks, and my BM production balance itself after that. I only get engorged if she sleeps through the night and I wake up at 4AM to pump.  I also get engorge if we go out and give her a bottle of  EBM and dont nurse her until I get back home, then I will feed her one side and pump the other.

    So to answer your question, you wont necessarily get engorged as bad this time.
