My 2 week old is the ideal baby as far as eats, sleeps, poops on a fairly regular and predicatable schedule. The only times she fusses is when she is hungry or the occasional "bubble". I am pumping breastmilk but supplementing with enfamil newborn due to lack of production. Tonight we found a few specks, not even streaks, of blood in her stools.
With that said, there is a long family history of milk alergies with all of us ending up on nutramigen or neocate. I will admit I have been watching the stools closer than most would since I started formula 3 days ago because of family history! Other than the specks (3-5 small spots), it is a normal seedy yellow, thin paste of a poop. I just am afraid of jumping to assume an allergy and it being something more minor! HELP!!
Re: Blood in 2 week old's stools?
As PPs have said, it could be an allergy.
Other things to consider are a reaction with the diaper (I remember seeing a tiny, red streak and it turned out to just be the diaper we were using), or a "period." Sometimes baby girls get one, but it's nothing to worry over.

LO had the same thing...we called and took her in to the pedi. After looking at her she determined that she had a small little tear on bum caused from pooing. I can see how it would happen since when she is pooping she seems to be pushing so hard. I would call the pedi and talk with them...it will help you put your mind at ease. Good Luck!!
