Hi there! I am looking to find an obgyn (both doctor and practice as a whole). I have been to several in the Alpharetta/Perimeter area, but haven't quite loved any of them yet! We are still in the process of getting pregnant, so I'd like to find a great one before the time comes. Thanks!
Re: OBGYN Recommendations in Alpharetta
Thanks for the recommendations! I actually have been going to Dr. Ayres, who is in the practice w/Dr. Leader! Would you say you liked that practice as a whole then?
i also see dr leader.
i had a great experience with her and the midwife. they worked as a team wonderfully. there is now a new midwife, but my friend delivered with her and LOVED her.
Leader is my favorite as i prefer a female, but ayers was great and zimmerman was great, too. Dr Allen and i didn't really connect, but i only saw him once for a super quick visit, so i really can't pass judgement.
i LOVE the nurses in this office, though!!
hoping to see them SOON with #3!!!
Dr. Leader is also my favorite, but I do like the practice as a whole. Dr. Harper is probably my next favorite, he is extremely warm and personable. I agree that Dr. Allen is hard to connect with, he is a man of VERY FEW words. I really wanted to deliver #3 at Northside Forsyth (the practice is only there one day a week), so it just worked out that he was on the schedule the week I needed to deliver and Dr. Leader was out of town. My MIL actually works at the front desk of the Alpharetta location, so if you go there, you'll see pictures of my kids hanging in there
The former midwife, Renee (who is Dr. Leader's best friend), delivered my boys, and she was fantastic. I have not met the new midwife, Barbora, since she is only down at the Atlanta (Perimeter) office, and it was too far for me to go with two little ones at home, but I'm sure she is wonderful as well.
I go to them too and loved them. Dr. Chua handled my c-section, but both doctors came to see me several times during my recovery time at the hospital. I delivered at EJC and I was one of only like 5 or 6 other moms there at the time, so it was nice and quiet.
