Had first RE visit today

I went back to my RE today for my first consult for a second pregnancy. He was very concerned about the problems I had in my first pregnancy. I developed gestational hypertension at 28 weeks and was placed on bed rest. I delivered at 37 weeks via c-section because my blood pressure was high. Then the problems started.

I started retaining alot of fluid. I was readmitted back to the hospital and given IV lasix and had lots of tests and was placed on IV Mag. They deteremined that I had borderline cardiomyopathy and severe post partum pre-eclampsia.

So, he wants a letter from my cardiologist and wants a consult from a high risk ob. So I have called my ob to get a referral that he used during my first pregnancy. I am so upset and scared, we really want to have a sibling for our dd but I want to be here for her too. We might look into surogacy and see if financially that is an option for us too.
