Pepper

41 weeks!?!?!? Where is New Baby????

Re: Pepper

  • New baby has been ordering furniture from Ikea to decorate in there.  I think she may have set up DSL.

     Seriously.

I am really starting to feel bored with this!

I'm still physically fine, though, and I started evening primrose oil, and my sister has tried some acupressure points.  NADA.

  • Boo to feeling okay. How 'bout some cramps? What about a back ache?

What's the temp up there? I hope, at least, that you're able to keep kind of cool.

  • Hang in there.  Here is hoping you have a big and healthy baby.
  • Good job with the EPO. It does take a little while to kick in, from what I've read. Just keep slickin' the ole runway!

  • Little cramps now and again, but not painful.  I *think* I may have lost my mucus plug after my exam on Monday, and I was spotting a little, but not anymore.  We got out new couch today, and Rom managed to get the rental truck and everything without my going into labor, so the "Planning something expensive" technique didn't work.

    *yawn*

  • I got a prenatal massage on the Thursday before I gave birth to Adrian (the following Monday). The masseuse pressed on specific ankle points that they're not supposed to touch during pregnancy b/c it can bring on labor. So she did it on purpose b/c I was almost due. I don't know if that helped but who knows. Maybe get a special labor-inducing massage?

Even if it doesn't work, it would be a nice treat! GL!

I had acupuncture  (first time ever) and that is where he put the needles also. IMO, it helped. It sure didn't hurt. :)

Ditto PP that a massage is a nice treat either way!

  • Baby Pepper....where aaaare you???

I had no signs of labor until my water broke in a diner.  DS wanted a good hearty breakfast before he ventured out into the world.
