I think I had my first REAL contraction this morning!

I know it doesn't really mean much, but I'm still kinda excited.

I was laying in bed this morning, and my lower back started to ache a bit, then it felt like a menstrual cramp around under my belly. It lasted less than a minute, I think. That's the first time I've had any pain like that (when my belly tightened), so I didn't think it was a BH. I didn't have any more, though.

DH told me the other day that he had a dream that I had the baby today (8/4). I told him to bite his tongue...we still have our concert to go to tomorrow night before the baby can come! *lol*

Besides, I've still got 2.5 weeks left...yeah, I want to meet our little girl, but I want her to be good and ready first!

    *laughs* At least until then! Like I said, I've still got over 2 weeks left....and sooooooo much to finish doing around the house! We STILL haven't finished painting the nursery (have 1 wall left to do the final coat on, and have to do the ceiling and touchups). The crib isn't set up. The floor needs to be steam cleaned after painting is done. Eep! Oh, haven't even THOUGHT about a hospital bag yet. Or installing the car seat.

    Maybe I've just been in denial that I'm getting to the end of this pregnancy?
