Was anyone offered a guess at the gender during your scan?

    I declined the NT, but I know some of the ladies on my BMB did get guesses at their scan! GL!
    After TTC with IR PCOS:
    April 2011: Metformin 1500mg + Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel + Prometrium = BFP!
    Beta #1 at 14DPO: 197 Beta #2 at 18DPO: 1296

    no - it's way too early to get a reliable gender guess that early. i didn't even ask though, i didn't want to know until there was a much greater chance at accuracy.

    No. Dr. wouldn't do it. 

    Additionally - I saw a ton of women on the Jan 2012 board that were told "Boy" at their NT scan (like, 80%) and now that it's the "right" time to find out, a lot of them a being told the opposite!

    Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
    DH: perfect
    1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
    2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!

    They offered and were wrong. I knew not to really listen to it though. I was told 2 boys... and we are having two girls.

    Way too early to tell but my tech said she had a "feeling" it was a boy. She didn't say anything specifically so I just took it with a grain of salt. She did end up being right. But I still wouldn't have painted or bought clothes until after my as.

    IVF #1: 4-11-11= Transferred 1 beautiful blastocyst I named "Nugget"
    5 Snowbabies! Beta#1 4/21= BFP! 226; Beta#2 4/25= 944
    DS born 12/14/11

    Baby #2 FET Nov/Dec 2013

    12/13 Beta#1=BFP 349; 12/16 Beta#2=1,089. First ultrasound 12/26. DS#2 born 8/8/14

    I've heard that some people were offered guesses, but my Dr. said it was too soon to tell. I was about 12w2d at the time.

    yes, the nurse offered with all 3 pregnancies as to what her "guess" would be. The first two she was right and the third he wouldnt cooperate so she couldn't tell.
    IUI#1 - 05/20/08 = BFP! M/C - 14 weeks :( baby girl
    IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks :( lost twin girls
    IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks :( again
    IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
    FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
    IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!

    Nope we didn't ask and she didn't offer. It's way to early to tell and I wouldn't trust the guess anyway so IMO it's not even worth the guess. I saw a lot of girls annoyed or second guessing their guess on my BMB too.

    Cycle #7: 1/10/11 = Surprise BFP after 3rd failed treatment cycle!!!    2/24: m m/c @ 10w0d

    4/11: Natural Cycle = BFP!!

    I wasn't offered a guess, and I didn't ask either.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    you wont find many people that offer guesses because it is way too early and could be wrong.

    I had them offer a guess at the NT Scan and they guess boy - I thought it looked like a boy too - I guess we will find out for sure in a couple of weeks - but I already refer to the baby as Him.

    My tech said she was 95% sure it was a girl at my 12w NT scan and she was right!
