So, my little guy is about to grow out of his infant seat (about an inch away) and we're going on a road trip next month so I think a convertible car seat would be more comforatble for him. Couple questions:
- any suggestions on a great car seat? I've seen a few good reviews of Britax
- I am ususally the one to bring him to and from daycare but sometimes my husband does. Are these seats pretty easy to move from car to car and how do you do the transfer if you pick up and your husband drops off? Carry the seat into daycare? Or get another seat (sounds spendy)?
Oh how I hate making these decisions! Thanks!
Re: The Next Car Seat
We have the Safety 1st Air protect, and we love it.
I don't know about other convertible car seats, but the one we have you wouldn't want to be taking it in and out of the car. Definitely not for carrying a child around in outside of the car. I would get a second car seat.
This exactly. My H has the Evenflow Triumph LX and I have the Graco MyRide 65. DD loves them both.
Britax Boulevard is a great car seat, with nice high RF limits. I have one and I love it.
And yes, get two of them. They are very easy to switch from car to car, but if you bring DS to DC, and DH picks him up, you will have to lug the damn thing inside everyday and that's not fun for anyone.
