The day has barely started and I am already ready to go home, curl up on my couch, read my book and watch some trash daytime television. Who's with me?
However, since I am stuck at work today and tomorrow I figured I'd waste your time (and mine) by doing a nice completely random GTKY that has little, or nothing to do with the current child you are carrying. After all we are more than baby incubators

My husband's name is Ray.
I hang out a few places mostly lurking in the shadows. I read a lot of on-line comics like XKCD and The Oatmeal. I have to say besides the Bump I spend a lot of time on CNN reading the news. I am lame.
I majored in Sociology and minored in English and Psychology. I also went to law school but I am not lawyer (no legal questions please). I actually work in direct marketed Life and Health insurance (I am not an agent but I can answer pretty much any Life or Health insurance question you might have).
I am hoping that we'll be doing Thanksgiving at my house with my family. I have done big thanksgiving dinners at our house for my husband's family but some how they are never fully appreciated. This year I am hoping that my mom, dad and sister will come. My parents are divorced but they are amicable, the only catch will be my dad's girlfriend who seems to have some self confidence issues when it comes to my dad's relationship with my mom. So long story short, we'll see.
I don't like nor do I dislike them. We are more in a tolerate them relationship. They have done some pretty awful stuff to us in the past few years, they are very self centered and have their own agendas which is fine I don't expect them to be at my beck and call. However, my mom has babysat, offered to babysit and done more for my kid living in NY than my in-laws ever have and they live 30 minutes away from us. They simply aren't interested in us like that unless it benefits them in some way.
I have a bunch of favorites- Jim Gaffigan, Brian Regan- I love Jon Stewart a heckuva lot.

Where are you spending Thanksgiving this year? Way too early to tell. We just bought our house in 2010 and we hosted all the holidays and had a lot of fun since we have a lot of space... but I'm not sure what I will feel up to this year. A lot of people liked having it at our house because of the space and the distance compared to other places... so we will see.

My other MIL passed away a few months ago under bad circumstances, and we didn't get along as much as I would have liked us to. Where are you spending Thanksgiving this year? Just decided a couple days ago I want to invite my parents to my house this year, it is one of the special years when Thanksgiving falls on my Bday like the year I was born!
Do you like your MIL/FIL (or MIL/FIL equivalent)? Never met my FIL as he passed away before we started dating. Not close with MIL (she didn't get along with her MIL and always tries to keep out of people's business because of this) but she takes good care of us and spoils the heck out of my LO.
Who is your favorite comedian (if you have one)? Basically, Comedy Central annoys the heck out of me because my husband wants to watch the SAME standup routines every Friday night...But I like Stewart and Colbert.
