DH and I are in the process of becoming foster parents, so in a sense we are expecting! We are requesting an infant to a two year old, so we will need daycare. Any recommendations for the N. Raleigh area? We are hoping to find a place with some diversity if possible. Price isn't a huge factor since it is covered by the state.
Re: N. Raleigh Daycare ? (and Intro)
The Goddard School on Creedmoor is where all of Ben's friends have been moving and I have heard they are great.
Little Pros in Bedford is fantastic and the director is great (I would almost give an arm for Ben to be able to go to this one, but I just can't get it to work out for us).
PresleyBrooke Academy on Creedmoor isn't horrible for an infant, but not for 18mo+ I would say. They just don't have a lot to offer as they start learning a lot more.
Stay away from Primary Beginnings on Falls.
Congrats on becoming foster parents! What a wonderful thing you guys are doing.
We've had our daughter in a wonderful Christian daycare since she was five months old---"In The Beginning." Its off Spring Forest Road (only a few blocks from Falls of Neuse intersect.) The owner & director there is a wonderful lady who is very hands-on with the center. If you want more info, just page me and I can e-mail you.
