Have we talked halloween here?

I can't remember? We might have started talking about it at the playdate yesterday.. but I can't remember what anyone said there either. :)

 

I THINK that I have decided that Natalie is going to be Knuffle Bunny and Eve will be Trixie

    I just got a shipping notice for Claire's costume!  I bought a sea otter costume because it was 4.99 on a special sale this weekend (it's only 10 now).  It's pretty cute but I'm not sure she knows what a sea otter is.  If she falls in love with something else I'm only out 5 dollars.

    I bought the Carter's monkey costume last year for 3.20 from Kohl's for Evan (before I knew he was Evan!).  Again, if I fall in love with something else I'm only out 3 dollars.

    We're waiting to see if this LO is a girl or a boy so we can do something with both kids.  If it's a boy we're thinking Pebbles and Bam Bam but we have no ideas for 2 girls (suggestions welcome)!

    OMG I was stunned that BRU had all their costumes out already when we were there today. I can't even start thinking about Halloween when summer is only half over!!!

    I love your Knuffle Bunny/Trixie idea though! Last year we did Chelsea as Cat in the Hat and Molly was the goldfish.

    We're going to get Belle a Rapunzel dress. We will be in Disney in the beginning of October and we're going to the Halloween party while we are there so we have been looking for costumes for a few weeks now. The Disney website has a sneak peak at their costumes but are pretty pricey.

    She is also getting a Princess Belle costume while in Disney for her birthday from my mom. She is wearing that to have breakfast with Belle. So she will have two choices come Halloween.

    I can't even begin to think about Halloween. Maybe after school starts. I'm afraid that we'll settle on one costume for him, then he'll want to be something else a week later, like his birthday.

    Cutest idea ever!!!  I love it!

    Eva wants to be a mummy this year so it should be pretty easy to make a costume- I'll just wrap some torn muslin around her cream leggings and tee shirt.

    E&L went as tinkerbell and peter pan last year and it was super cute. I'll probably do matching/coordinating this year too because they'll still have no clue. I don't have any ideas though. It's August ;) Do ya'll really think about this stuff so early? I think I wrote the same thing last year when someone posted about Halloween in the middle of summer, hehe..

    Yep. That's my Justin 100%. We went out Lightning McQueen Birthday Invites and ended up with a Spiderman birthday

    I have no clue what Evan will be. He's too young to really know the difference, but I'll probably let him pick between a couple things (whatever he happens to be into at that time!) But he's weird about things on his head, and most other things he wears!

    I am excited to take him out trick or treating this year! We will probably go to my brother and SIL's neighborhood... last year only 2 other houses on our block handed out candy, and my mom's house got no trick or treaters.

    Last Halloween Charlotte was only 4 days old and since she was early, we did not have a costume for her, so this will be the first time getting to dress her up. I don't know what she will be yet, but I should probably start looking!! Wonder if she will be walking by then, that makes a difference in costume I think.
