Okay, so I've decided that my baby boy's fussiness is definitley teething pain. Any time today that he started fussing, if I rubbed his gums he settled down. So the question is how to help?
I've heard vanilla extract and chamomile and teething tablets and a bunch of others, so just wondering what everyone else has tried.
Re: teething pain relief
I have done a few things:
- put wet wash cloth in the fridge for him to chew on once it's nice and cold
-basic teething rings in the fridge (he loves that thing)
-an ice cube in that mesh feeder (see the pattern... cold, cold, cold) lol
-at night before bed I use the humphrey's teething pellets (I ordered them on amazon)
Good luck! Teething hasn't been fun in this house!
Thanks girls. I called my pedi to see about the pellets and tablets and she told me to get chamomile and its worked wonders.
The cold teether rings would be good if LO could keep it in his mouth but he doesnt have the motor skills to get it in there. but at least i found something that works, I was about to have a melt down this afternoon when I couldn't help him. His great big tears broke my heart
